Hanukkah

Hanukkah started this week. Carson had fun playing dreidal, trying latkes, watching us light the menorah, and he opened a few presents.

Sophie and Cereal

Carolyn tried rice cereal for the first time last weekend. It was funny to watch her reaction to the first bite. She seems to like eating the cereal now. Also, she loves her new toy/teether Sophie. Sophie has been great for the times when her gums seem to really bother her

Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving...The kids had a great time! Carolyn started using her new exersaucer during the trip (Thanks Grandma and Grandp!). Carson even got an early birthday present from Uncle Dan and Aunt Kim!

4 months

Wow...we can't believe Carolyn is 4 months old! She is growing up so fast. She is doing well. She sleeps 10-11 hours at night. She is happy (giggles, smiles), talks a lot, rolls around the room, and she still adores her older brother. She is 24 inches long and 15 pounds 5 ounces.

Halloween

Carson LOVED trick-or-treating this year (even though it was freezing)! He went to a lot of houses and had a bag full of candy by the end of the night! Carolyn was snuggled in her ladybug costume and she enjoyed the stroller ride around the neighborhood.

Boo at the Zoo

Here are some pictures from the weekend. We went to the Boo at the Zoo. Carson loved it! Carolyn had a good time too. She is teething now, as evident from the picture of her trying to eat her fist.

3 months

Carolyn is 3 months old today! She can roll over, smiles a lot, does a lot of "baby talk," and sleeps 10 hours straight at night! She also likes to suck her thumb.

Bumbo

Carolyn started sitting in the Bumbo this week. She seems to really enjoy sitting in the seat.

Pittsburgh trip

Carolyn took her first road trip to Pittsburgh a few weekends ago with Mommy, while Carson stayed home with Daddy for some boy bonding time. Carolyn had a great time playing with Mommy's friends. She smiled a lot, slept the whole way there and back (3hrs each way), and slept great overnight (first time in pack'n play).
