Kings Island

Daddy took Carson to Kings Island last Tuesday. They had such a good time that they went back on Friday and Mommy went with them this time. Carson's favorite ride was the water ride that is now called Camp Remote (aka Log Flume). He just loved going down the hill and getting a little wet. This year Carson went on his first big roller coaster--Woodstock Express (aka the Beastie). The first picture shows his reaction (click to enlarge)...a big smile and a bit scared. After the ride, he said it was scary and fun and he wanted to go on it again!

Zoo with Alex

Carson met up with his friend Alex at the zoo a couple of weekends ago. They had a great time visiting with the animals and playing at the new playground near the polar bears!

Circus

We went to the circus last weekend. It was a lot of fun! Carson loved it, especially the elephants and tigers.

Mother's Day

We had a good Mother's Day. We went out to breakfast at our favorite place (First Watch), had a relaxing day, and went to the zoo.

Visiting Beth at Miami

We visited Beth at Miami a few weeks ago and met up with Grandpa and Wendy. The campus is even prettier than now and the new business school buildings were awesome. Congrats to Beth on graduating!!! She will be a great teacher.

Zoo for Evan's birthday

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the zoo last weekend for Evan's 2nd birthday party. Carson had a great time running around the zoo and looking at all of the animals.

New bed

We recently moved to our new house and Carson loves his new room! It is a Thomas theme with a Thomas bed and his Thomas train table.

Easter weekend

Carson had a good time coloring eggs this year and he loved the easter egg hunt. He was so excited to see what was in each egg. Carson got a baseball glove and ball too, which will be fun to play with this summer!

It's a girl!

Here I am at 20 weeks pregnant...We found out that we're having a girl! Carson is very excited for a baby sister.

Birthday party at My Gym

Carson went to a birthday party at My Gym last weekend. He had a blast there, especially in the ball pit.

Playtime with Evan and Emma

Carson and Evan had a great time playing together a few weekends ago. Also, Carson was interested in watching Evan's baby sister Emma. He even got to hold her in his lap.

There are a lot of things going on right now...including preparing for a 2nd baby. Carson is so excited about being an older brother. He asks if he can touch the baby in my belly almost everyday and he says that he wants to help me change the baby's diapers. He is also looking forward to teaching the baby how to play with his Thomas trains. When we babysat Landon (2 month old) last weekend, Carson wanted to feed him is bottle, he did help with the diaper change, he wanted to carry him (a bit too heavy for a 3 year old), and he gave Landon 3 trains to play with (he tried to explain to Landon how to play with the trains, it was really cute)...lots of fun times coming up in the near future.

Holiday pics 2009

We had a great time in Cincy seeing lots of family for Christmas this year. Amy, Scott, and Morgan visited from Belgium for the week and Carson had a blast playing with Morgan! Carson also got to see Santa. It was really fun to watch all of the little cousins opening presents...and there will be more little ones next year... :)

Thomas Table

Carson got a Thomas table from Grandma Sue and Grandpa Dave! He loves it. Here he is playing with some of his trains on the table.
