The Zoo

It was such nice weather here this weekend, so we decided to go to the zoo today. We saw elephants, lions, tigers, goats, and monkeys. Also, we went on a train ride. Carson had so much fun (and so did Mommy and Daddy)! We will be going back many times this spring and summer...

Baseball Practice

Since the weather was so nice this weekend, Carson played outside with his t-ball set. We helped him the first few tries and then he was hitting the baseball all over the yard!

Blue Jackets Game

We took Carson to his first Blue Jackets game tonight. Everytime hockey is on tv, he gets excited, so we had a feeling that he would enjoy going to a game. Carson was cheering (At one point, he said "Come on Guys" and pumped his fist), clapping, and playing close attention to the game. It was a lot of fun!

Go Daddy. Go Daddy.

Carson and Mommy cheered for Daddy ("Go Daddy...Go Daddy") during the race this morning (Arnold 5K) in downtown Columbus. Carson was very inspired by Daddy. After the race, he told Daddy "good job" and then he went home and ran sprints in the living room (s0 many sprints that he was sweating by the end of it).

Playing in the train

Recently, Carson went to a fun children's bookstore with Grandma Sue, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Dan, and Mommy. Since he loves books, he enjoyed looking through many of the books and he had fun running through the big train at the store.

COSI with Alex

Carson had fun at COSI with his friend Alex (who will be 3 in just a few weeks!). They played in the toddler area and visited other exhibits (Frogs, Space, etc). They also danced and ran around. How cute are they holding hands! Carson liked sitting on the potty in the space exhibit.

CoCo Key Water Park

This weekend, we went to CoCo Keys (indoor waterpark) with Grandpa Mo and Wendy. We had a great time! There was a nice toddler area, older kid area, and adult area (Daddy enjoyed the slides in that area)...Carson loved going down the slides, playing in the pool, chilling in the lazy river, and walking around the rest of the water park. He had fun running around the hotel room afterwards too. Thanks again Mo and Wendy!

Caleb's birthday party

This weekend Carson went to Caleb's 2nd birthday party at the Graeter's Ice Cream Store. He had a lot of fun going down the slide and playing on the banana split see-saw. Of course, he loved the cupcake and ice cream! Happy birthday Caleb!

Underwater

Carson had another swimming lesson today and he loved it again. He put his head underwater today, practiced kicking, and collected rings. I think jumping in the water is his favorite activity.

Shoveling

Carson helped shovel the driveway today.

COSI

Carson, Evan, and Caleb went to the Cosi museum for the first time this weekend. The boys had a great time playing in the toddler area. They especially enjoyed the water room where they wore rain jackets and played with the water toys. Carson also had fun at another station shooting water and then he and and Daddy touched the water fountain in the Ocean room.

Swimming lesson

Carson LOVED his first swimming lesson...He smiled and laughed the whole time he was in the water (and so did Daddy). Carson jumped in the water to Daddy, swam on his back and his stomach, kicked his legs in the water, and swam after water toys. We can't wait to take him back for his lesson next week.
